Local people of Charghare, Ward-6, Kirtipur Municipality made a discovery of statue of "Laxmi Narayan" near Jalpa Devi Temple on March 30th 2019. Department of Archeology has verified that the statues are from Lichhavi era (400-750 AD).
The locals have suggested that the authorities concerned should excavate the area, for there could be many ancient artefacts underneath.
