Your future is in your hand

E-mail Print PDF

Before I get into the topic, I would like to congratulate all the SLC graduates for their success. At the time when I was a SLC graduate, I was not very confused about choosing the stream, because from the school days I've set in mind that I'll pick up science, so I did.

There is not any particular criterion that defines, whether you are taking science or commerce or anything else.

The most important thing is that, in which subject your interest laid, whether it is science or management or humanities. With low percentage too, you can pursue science and even with a higher percentage you can leave science. Being a science student is a very challenging job. You need blended of hard working and patience. You won't get any leisure time as your other friends enjoy. If you think, you can accept these challenges; there is nothing any best subject than studying science. With science in plus two there are lots of opportunities ahead. Either you can continue with B.Sc or cross over to any other field, there is no any restriction. This is the only subject that permits you to pursue any course further in future, whether it is commerce or humanities or anything besides that. Don't go with others; listen to your heart before taking any decisions regarding the stream.

Science makes you smart, give you confidence to tackle in real world; this is very things that should be with you to get succeeded in future. So if you can then only attempt science if not opt for other streams. If you think to take a side job along with your study then, management will be the best to take upon. With a less effort too, if you study little bit seriously, you can do good in the management.

Management comprises planning, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling an organization for the purpose of accomplishing job. The humanities are academic discipline which studies the human condition. It includes languages, literature, history, philosophy, performing arts, religions, Law etc. If you think your interest lies in these fields then never hesitate to opt for humanities.

Course structure of +2

Tribhuvan University is planning to eliminate proficiency certificate level that is running by government colleges from this session onwards. All the student union is protesting against it. Again, if it gets happened true then I've heard that, the private colleges are not in position to mop up all the SLC graduates due to their limited infrastructures, so be in quick to get in admission.
