This year's Janai Purnima

Kirtipur. Janau Purnima is one of the festivals that is celebrated all over Nepal. On this occasion people from Brahmin and Cheetri community change their old Janai (a sacred thread) with new one. Same day people also tie a “Doro”(colorful thread) around their wrest prepared by priests.
