Glimpses of Indrayani, Bishudevi & Bal Kumari Festival Celebrated

5th Poush 2070, Kirtipur: Jatras and festivals are part of life for Newar community. One of the most awaited Jatra’s of Panga 'Bishnudevi Jatra', Nagaun ‘Bal Kumari Jatra’ and Kirtipur ‘Indrayani Jatra’ were celebrated on 26th and 27th of Mangsir 2070. It is the part of famous “Saat Gaule Jatra” celebrated annually marking the arrival of winter.

Many visitors from different parts of the valley participated with lots of joy and celebrations. The goals of such type of Jatras embrace from feasts and festivals to social harmony, team effort, cultural exchange and social unity.
