Maha Shivaratri in Pashupatinath (Photo feature)

Maha Shivaratri is one of the important festival for Hindus all around the world. This day is celebrated on the fourth day of waning moon in lunar month of Falgun. In 2016 it was celebrated on 7 March.

In Pashupatinath temple, Kathmandu  this festival is marked annually with many functions and rituals. Here are few photographs captured by Narayan Maharjan on that day.
